You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Here's what you need to know: • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period • You will continue to have access to premium features until the billing period ends • No partial refunds are provided for the unused portion of your subscription • You can reactivate your subscription at any time • All your data and settings will be preserved for 90 days after cancellation
We offer refunds under the following circumstances: • Technical Issues: If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using our services and we are unable to resolve them within 7 days • Duplicate Charges: If you are charged twice for the same subscription period • Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization • Service Outages: Extended service outages that significantly impact your ability to use our platform Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge date. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
If you're on a free trial: • You can cancel anytime during the trial period without being charged • Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the trial ends • If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged for a subscription • You'll receive an email reminder 3 days before your trial ends • One free trial is allowed per user
To cancel your subscription: 1. Log in to your ChessVeda account 2. Navigate to Settings > Subscription 3. Click on "Manage Subscription" 4. Select "Cancel Subscription" 5. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation 6. You will receive a confirmation email Alternatively, you can contact our support team at support@chessveda.com for assistance with cancellation.
To request a refund: 1. Contact our support team at support@chessveda.com 2. Provide your account email and transaction ID 3. Explain the reason for your refund request 4. Include any relevant screenshots or documentation 5. Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days 6. You will receive an email notification about the decision Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method.
The following items are non-refundable: • Tournament entry fees (unless the tournament is cancelled by ChessVeda) • Completed coaching sessions or lessons • Virtual goods or in-app purchases that have been used or consumed • Subscriptions after 30 days from purchase date • Gift subscriptions that have been activated • Special promotional pricing or discounted subscriptions
Tournament-specific refund policy: • Full refund if you withdraw at least 24 hours before tournament start • 50% refund if you withdraw within 24 hours of tournament start • No refund once the tournament has started • Full refund if the tournament is cancelled by ChessVeda • In case of technical issues during a tournament, compensation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Before initiating a chargeback: • Please contact our support team to resolve the issue • Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension • We prefer to work with you directly to resolve any billing disputes • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination • Your account will be reactivated once the dispute is resolved
If you wish to delete your account entirely: • Active subscriptions must be cancelled first • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone • All your data, including game history and statistics, will be deleted • No refunds are provided for account deletion • You may create a new account in the future, but your previous data cannot be recovered
